Dr Sajjad Ashnagar (Dr Ash, DDS, MS) is a board-certified periodontist with the American Board of Periodontology. Dr Ash has extensive training in implant dentistry and have been trained through one to one surgeries with multiple world famous surgeons like Dr Craig Misch (Florida), Dr Tord Berglundh (Sweden), Dr Marc Nevins (Massachusetts), Dr Mario Roccuzzo (Italy) and Dr Tiziano Testori (Italy). At Lake Highlands Periodontics, he focuses on dental implants and plastic periodontal surgery, delivering advanced care with precision and compassion. Dr. Ash previously held a faculty position at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where he trained postgraduate residents in periodontics. He earned his dental degree in 2014 and completed his specialty training in periodontics at the University of Michigan—one of the nation's top programs.
Alongside his clinical certificate, he received a Master’s degree in Oral Sciences from the same institution. A recipient of the prestigious Dr. and Mrs. Steven Meraw Periodontal Scholarship, Dr. Ash stays at the forefront of periodontics and implant dentistry through ongoing clinical and practice-based research. He has authored 19 peer-reviewed publications, cited over 500 times by international researchers.
Dr. Ash is known for his gentle hands and clinical precision. He has over nine years of clinical experience and is licensed in moderate IV sedation and high-risk anesthesia. He is licensed in the states of Texas and California.
